The Newton is in good shape, though the case has assorted scratches and scuffs (though you have to look close and at a certain angle to see them). Used heavily several years ago, the screen has been protected by a Barrier screen protector, so is in good shape.
This Newton has been sent back to the factory twice. The first time was to correct a common manufacturing flaw that prevented the power contacts from making a clean connection with the rechargable battery pack. This repair worked perfectly. The second time was to upgrade the unit to be a 2100. This also worked perfectly.
